Mediations
Common Issues:
- Custody of the children
- Parenting choices
- Child Support
- Financial distribution
- Property divisio
Your situation is unique to you,
and as impartial mediators, we’re sensitive to your needs. We’re
familiar with and specially trained in diverse personalities and
cultures. Using our experience and training, we’ll guide you toward
a mediated settlement of your own making, letting you craft as
creative an approach as you want while making sure it’s equitable
for everyone it affects. We help you determine the outcome of
your own divorce.
We strive to ensure that both parties become as
fully informed as possible about the options available to you,
because only if you’re fully informed can you accurately assess
your choices.
Most mediations can be done in two or three sessions,
each lasting from four to seven hours. Both spouses are personally
involved throughout the process, and when necessary, we’ll meet
with each spouse separately to give you a
chance to address with us privately those issues you may not want
to bring up in a joint session.
Mediation can help you
- determine your own futures;
- improve your ability to communicate with each
other;
- give you personal empowerment;
- find creative solutions;
- promote the best interests of the children;
- reduce both economic and emotional costs;
- create a settlement of your making, rather
than one imposed by the court.
